As expected, "NCIS" Season 15 is already confirmed to happen soon, but while the show's ratings are still fairly well in "NCIS" Season 14, it has dropped after two of the fans' favorites have departed. Now, there are whispers and speculations that one of the show's lead stars may also bid his farewell, and his exit will significantly affect the ratings.

Mark Harmon (Leroy Jethro Gibbs) is noticeably thin in "NCIS" Season 14 which led fans to worry about his health and condition. While some suggested that the 65-year-old actor should take a quick break to get his healthy self back, rumors have spread that the "Certain Prey" actor will actually leave the show for good due to his frail condition. CBS and Mark Harmon has yet to comment on this issue.

If Mark Harmon will indeed leave the show to focus on his health, it will not be shocking news anymore if the ratings for "NCIS" Season 15 will not be as impressive as expected. The site even noted that fans of the hit CBS show will stop watching it if their favorite Leroy Jethro Gibbs will be off the cast. Mark Harmon has remained tight-lipped regarding the status of his health.

Meanwhile, it was previously reported that Michael Weatherly (Anthony "Tony" DiNozzi) is believed to return to save the show. Unfortunately, Michael Weatherly's hectic schedule may play a vital role in his decision making. Although the 48-year-old actor and director has already left the popular CBS show, "NCIS" Season 14, he has his very own another CBS show, "Bull."

After killing off a fan favorite, Ziva David (Cote de Pablo) in "NCIS" Season 13, the show has been struggling with keeping the hype going. Now, rumors of Mark Harmon to be out of the hit show as well has definitely worried loyal fans. For now, viewers can still catch Mark Harmon as Leroy Jethro Gibbs in "NCIS" Season 14 on CBS every Tuesday at 8 pm.
