After over three years of waiting, Funimation finally dropped the official trailer of "Attack on Titan" Season 2. Fans now finally had the glimpse of the much-awaited anime series' storyline and concept.

"Attack on Titan" Season 2' teaser starts with a very familiar scene with an army of titans marching in a sinister way toward the people. Fans, too, are going to witness the breakdown of the Wall Rose as one of the titans tries to breach the wall that protects the inhabitants of the Chlorba District, the Karanese District and the Trost District. Of course, Eren, Mikasa and Armin are all back to fight as many as titans as they can.

However, it looks like these heroes are about to face a number of new titans that would put them into a test in "Attack of the Titans" Season 2. In fact, the teaser shows a huge and furry titan that works its best effort to fling a horse towards the members of the Survey Corps. A smaller titan, on the other hand, is seen digging the bodies of its fellow titans.

Meanwhile, fans have been waiting since 2013 to watch the next "Attack on Titan" Season 2. The anime series first launched in Japan in the aforementioned year and quickly became a hit and one of the most popular programs on the air. In fact, it even got more attention when it was revealed in the U.S., BGR noted. It is based on the renowned manga series made by Hajime Isayame and set in the world where humans live to protect themselves against the attack of the titans.

These creatures are like gigantic humanoids that kill individuals without a valid reason. "Attack on Titan" Season 1 was aired on Adult Swim's Toonami block, while it was not yet sure if "Attack on Titan" Season 2 would also air on the said network. The second season of the manga series will return to the small screens in April 2017.
