Billy Bob Thornton's show, "Goliath" Season 1, has been well received by viewers. The American legal drama web television series was even dubbed as Amazon's "top binged" show. Fans have been expecting "Goliath" Season 2 to be released as soon as possible, and with its instant success, the possibility of a sequel is not far from happening.

While it's hard to actually measure the show's ratings -- since "Goliath" is an Amazon original series -- its success is based on the outlet's subscription. Deadline reported that the show was able to garner the top spot for most "binged" first season of an original series by Amazon that was produced in the United States, all in a span of its initial ten days, as announced by Amazon.

The site noted that although there are a lot of binge-worthy shows in Amazon, "Goliath" Season 1 took the top spot. The show actually had a familiar concept, but Billy Bob Thornton and the rest of the cast made it look fresh and interesting, which hooked more viewers.

While many are looking forward and are confident about the coming of a "Goliath" Season 2, there is still no word on whether Amazon will be renewing the show for another installment. The company has yet to issue a comment on the speculations, and it's still too early to tell if a second season will indeed be in the works.

Fans have been sharing their love and support for the show and even suggested that "Goliath" Season 2 must happen soon. One fan expressed his appreciation to the Amazon show on Twitter and also praised Billy Bob Thornton for his portrayal of Billy McBride.

"@BillyBobThorntn I just got done binging #Goliath on #AmazonPrime phenomenal job, when does season 2 come out???" the fan wrote. Will you watch "Goliath" Season 2 if developed? Let us know in the comments section below!
