‘The 100’ Season 4 Spoilers Reveal A Climatic Turn of Events In Its Midseason Finale

Putting all rumors on the cancellation of the show to rest, fans can rejoice on the confirmed news that production of Season 4 of 'The 100' has begun and will release next year.

According to Movie News Guide, Season 4 production is expected to finish by mid of January next year, hence the release could be possible very much by Feb. 2017. Meanwhile, teasers are creating a buzz on what awaits the survivors in the post-apocalyptic series.

It can be recalled that in Season 3 of 'The 100,' Clarke Griffin (Eliza Taylor) manages to destroy the artificial intelligence responsible for the nuclear apocalypse 97 years ago. However, Clarke and others didn't realise the damaging effect it could have on earth, with the nuclear detractors irradiating Earth, making it an unfit and uninhabitable place for humans to live in it.

Rumors suggest that with survival instincts kicking in, and with the devastating deaths of major actors in Season 3, it will remain to be seen who manages to survive and who bites the dystopian dust in Season 4 of 'The 100.'

Costume designer Allisa Swanson and Executive Producer Aaron Ginsburg seem to further confirm the coming of a climatic turn of events with their respective posts on Twitter. While Swanson teased her fans by musing on who might get "get maimed, wounded or killed," Ginsburg on the other hand mentioned he was working on the 'most twisted brutal episode' of the forthcoming series.

Series creator Jason Rothenberg said during the San Diego Comic- Con 2016 event that Season 4 will not be about stopping an unstoppable enemy. But it will be more about what will these people do in order to survive?
