Jailbreaking is an ever-growing trend facilitated by certain people. As soon as a software update is available, jailbreakers are on the lookout to access the information and overcome the software restrictions developed by the mobile companies.

It allows the users to use applications and software that are otherwise not available on that particular application store.

The latest ios update is a keen topic of conversation amongst many as it is speculation as to whether Apple has made its security stronger or not. Jailbreaking of ios emerged in 2007 when Apple launched their first iPhone. The improvements in the new hardware threaten the jailbreaking community. However, legally they are not threatened.

The legality of jailbreaking is not yet known in many countries as long as they do not disturb the copyrights. The U.S. Copyright Office permitted the exemption of jailbreaking one's phone.

What Is Jailbreaking?

As the word suggests, it means breaking out of jail. There are many impositions by Apple which do not allow a user to use particular software and applications which further could hinder their wants. Thus, certain people with the use of software exploits can access the iOS file system and make it available. Few people jailbreak to show the inadequacy of the software update that can be used to improve the software further.

What Kind Of Restrictions?

Apple has imposed restrictions such as prohibiting device customization by personalizing it, using the handset on a variety of carriers, software unavailability. Jailbreaking of iOS 10 will allow users to use applications while the screen is locked. It will allow the notifications to appear in a chronological form.

Who Does It?

Developers make software, which allows the process of jailbreaking. In particular, one such company is Pangu which had previously demonstrated the ios jailbreak.

Apple launched its iOS version 9.3.5 on August 25, 2016. This release intended to improve three significant errors. It aimed to fix the Pegasus Malware, controlled by NSO Group.

These happenings have motivated Apple to introduce such stringent protection software in their device that the future looks grim for jailbreakers.

Pangu showed how Cydia was working well in an iOS 10 device. The software is an anticipated release amongst many smartphone users. The latest rumor is that Pangu will not be able to come up with a jailbreaking system anytime soon. They could also be waiting for the iOS 10.1 releases before demonstrating anything publicly. As accurate as the rumors may be, users can enjoy the latest update, which is a very engaging one.
