Bad news awaits "Game of Thrones" fans as the published has confirmed that the sixth book of the series title "The Winds of Winter" would be delayed. According to some fans, however, the book is still on time, considering the plot and the release date of earlier books in the series.

Asiastarz reported that the publisher of George R. R. Martin will be delayed by a few days. However, there has been no set official release date for the book. Although fans might be a bit disappointed about the delaying of the date, yet it cannot be resented because Martin's inability to follow deadlines is not new.

It has been speculated that Martin was delaying the books as he was apparently busy with writing two books simultaneously, thus taxing his creativity.

Meanwhile, it has also been rumored that in this book Daenerys will go mad. According to an anonymous report, the latest books of "Game of Thrones" will ponder on the subject of insanity, which was also touched upon in "A Storm of Swords", reported Parent Herald.

Since Daenerys is the only daughter of the "Mad King" aka King Aerys II Targaryen, so there are chances of the "Mad Queen" making her place in history. Viewers will know that Daenerys is the next heir to the Iron Thrones. Apparently, the responsibility might be a cause of Daenerys going crazy.

The release date of "The Winds of Winter" still remains hidden, but it is expected to be out by early 2017, before the premiere of much - awaited season 7 of "Game of Thrones".

So, it seems that "Game of Thrones" fans need to wait for the release of the book before they can see the happenings of Winter. Additionally, staying tuned to news might also help them to know the spoilers ahead of time.
