‘The Young and The Restless’ Cast & Spoilers: Adam Survives The Blast; Michael Muhney To Replace Justin Hartley?

In Thursday's episodes of "The Young and The Restless", fans saw an explosive blast, and on Friday's episode, they will be able to see the repercussions of the blast.

Notably, viewers will see Paul giving Dylan updates on a blast at a cabin just five miles away from them. Moreover, the witness who brings in the news of the blast will spot a  man, woman, and child in the same.

Meanwhile, it has been finalized that Justin Hartley will be leaving the show. However, it is not confirmed if Michael Muhney will be back as Adam to fill in the position. Notably, Hartley will be starring a new season named "This is Us" on NBC. He also mentioned that he wanted a break from "The Young and The Restless", reported Parent Herald.

However, even if Muhney is not replacing Hartley as Adam, Hartley's leaving the show is imminent. "The Young and The Restless" seems to be aware of that and is already looking for his replacement. In an earlier report from CDL, citing Soaps In Depth, Y&R has made a casting call, which looked like a disguise for Adam Newman.

It seems that the storyline of Y&R has been modified recently to make way for Hartley's leave. Newman has recently escaped from prison and is on the run. As viewers might have noted, recently there has been a blast.

According to the storyline, it is believed that Chloe wanted Adam to die and might have caused the blast. Additionally, Victor might have been keeping a tab on things and might have pulled Adam out of the scene. However, Adam might suffer some minor injuries considering the blast was a huge one. This would pave way for Muhney entering the show when Hartley leaves.

Either way, viewers would have to wait and watch to see what happens.
