Captain America: Civil War Full Movie Plot Fails: What Fans Say About Chris Evans, Sebastian Stan

“Captain America: Civil War” has drawn both positive and negative feedbacks though the former seems to be overwhelming the bad vibes. It all depends on how deep you dig into the movie and its plot, some of which may have a point of contention.

Aside from Captain America (Chris Evans) and Bucky (Sebastian Stan), other stars who appeared in the movie had varying parts and screen time. But then again critics may be missing out that this is a “Captain America” movie and not an “Avengers” film, an impression given from the posters and trailers alone.

Overall, “Captain America: Civil War” wasn’t that bad though there were loopholes no matter how small. Justin Tsang from Quora made some interesting observations though the easy answer for all of it is that the producers may have compromised certain scenes.

Depending on one’s opinion, some may or may not agree with his observations or the fact that it hardly matters in the eyes of the common viewer.

Captain America’s stance was questioned, particularly when Bucky threw someone from a stairwell. Tsang singles out how Cap reprimands his old pal and compared that to how Falcon (Anthony Mackie) blew up others through weapon shots or missiles.

The footage showing how Bucky killed the parents of Tony Stark (Robert Downey Jr.) was not spared as well. Tsang points out how a camera was there at the scene of the accident. He goes further by criticizing how the “Winter Soldier” knew about it and shot it. It does prove a point though it seems a bit odd to consider that there were CCTV cameras at that time.

The ending was something to ponder too as well. It may have helped if there were scenes to show how shield-less Cap and one-armed Bucky were able to infiltrate an underwater prison facility even if “Black Panther” (Chadwick Boseman) lent a helping hand. Just the same, that did not escape the eye of Tsang and the critics.

Tsang’s full answers to the plot holes can be viewed here for folks who want to check out the other stuff he covered.

Aside from Evans and Stan, the villains seemed to have less of a role. Though the title does suggest that it was all about the “Civil War” it remains that “Baron Zemo” (Daniel Bruhl) played all of them before being apprehended (easily?) by the “Black Panther”.
