With most people associating the Huawei brand with smartphones, a different branch on what the company has to offer may have been overlooked. This refers to the Elegant and Jewel smartwatch line the company revealed at the last Consumer Electronics Show in January, sultry pieces that could fit in well with a female’s overall wardrobe.

These are the icebreaking wearables that Huawei plans to venture into aside from moving up the smartphone niche. They are not too large and different from the traditional Huawei Watch, featuring thinner watch straps paired with shiny aesthetics.

The Huawei Watch Elegant variant boasts of a curved rose-gold plated body and an embossed top ring design while the Huawei Watch Jewel is surrounded by 68 Swarovski Zirconia gemstones. Both watches will also come with exclusive watch faces to match their respective exteriors. The two models are slightly bigger in dimension at 44 x 44 x 11.3mm not to mention carrying the same thickness.

“It complements outfits for any occasion, whether it’s an important business meeting or gala of the season,” according to Huawei.

Overall, these are sultry watches to consider despite the fact that they are technically still Android smartwatches and are now available in U.S. soil. The Huawei Watch Elegant piece runs for about $499 while the Huawei Watch Jewel costs a bit more at $599.

Both are available through popular online sites like Best Buy, Newegg, and B&H Photo. The Elegant runs for around $499.99 while the Jewel costs about $599.99. Best Buy and Newegg offer potential buyers some savings by giving a $50 off on each of the watches while B&H Photo is including a $50 gift card instead.

With the age of wearables slowly creeping in, these female-oriented pieces could be something nifty for the fashion and technology conscious females out there.

Aside from the seemingly similar specs that is set apart by the design of the two watches, a worthy feature worth noting is that both will have a speaker for on-wrist voice calling.

While these new elegant watches offer a tempting option, it will be interesting if they can stand out with other wearables in the market such as smart watches being offered by brands like Appple, Motorola or even Pebble.
