How do Americans deal with porn, and how do people's observations of adult content alter according to age as well as other factors? Scientists have come up with a new study on this, according to the Washington Examiner.

Called "The Porn Phenomenon" the study looks are various age groups that use porn, the reasons they use it and how it shows the modern morality, based on the interviews of more than 3,000.

The posting by the Barna Group shows that older adults take a "somewhat dirty view" of porn. The youth does not take so much offence. Moreover, teenagers to adults tend to use porn as a safe way of undergoing sex that does not expose them to the risk of STDs.

Currently, women, as well as men, are looking at porn. "While porn has typically been a man's domain, its usage among young women seems to have become more common, perhaps due to digital access," read the report.

The study, funded by Josh McDowell Ministries, will be released only in April.
